To increase patient retention, medication management, drug screening with meaningful use and attestation. We offer a patient education program to help reduce prescription drug addiction and abuse. By simply responding to the epidemic associated with prescription drug addiction and abuse, we have developed a new proactive addiction method never introduced before. PDMP and CDC are a few resource tools we use to provide up to date information for physicians prescribing opioid analgesics FOR PEOPLE IN PAIN
Some addictions, such as opioid addiction, can be treated with medications. These pharmacological treatments counter the effects of the drug on the brain and behavior and can be used to relieve withdrawal symptoms, help overcome drug cravings, or treat an overdose. Alt- hough a behavioral or pharmacological approach alone may be sufficient for treating some patients, research shows that a combined approach may be best.
The RB2 program was created due to the number of patients whose routine UDS was returned non-compliant for the presence of THC. And, or the absence of prescribed medication. Because Marijuana is currently illegal in the state of Georgia, which still gives us as caregivers an obligation to educate patients of this law and provide them with the appropriate educational information. RB2 is a program developed by a retired civil servant, military-trained wife with 3 children one of which is addicted to street drugs.
The Hodge program was created for patients who tamper with their UDS devices by shaving medication or falsifying the UDS collection at the point of care. Many physicians noticed a large number of patient drug screens non–compliant for the presence of prescribed medication. The UDS conformation from LCMS was consistent for high levels of the parent drug but no presence of the other drugs found in the prescribed medication. These patients were sent out to MG counseling for a determining factor, Why was the patient diverting, what was the root cause for the diversion, and tackle what makes patients divert. We have found some diverters sell their meds for household goods, rent, cell phone service, and much much more. Please log in and or call for more information about these 2 new programs with significate results.
